Endangered Species Day

May 25, 2015 By admin

On Endangered Species Day, 15 May 2015, San Diego Zoo Global highlighted the plight of rhinos everywhere with a “Rally4Rhinos” event. Rhino Rescue Project showed its support for this initiative by joining other rhino-related groups in participating in the “Stop Killing Rhinos” selfie campaign. Contributors were asked to write this message on their hands and post it to Facebook and/or Twitter along with the hashtags #StopKillingRhinos and #Rally4Rhinos. The idea was to get rhino conservation trending on social media and, boy, did it ever…! The Rally4Rhinos campaign is an ongoing initiative.
